A message from President Tommy Kelaher

Welcome to the Surfside Area Rotary Club and a very special place called the South Carolina Low Country where our Rotary strategy is to have fun while we work on projects that help meet local community needs. We also believe in reaching out beyond our community in the true spirit of Rotary International.

The seven major projects are somewhat unique in that they require "hands on" time from our members. We have found the "hands on" experience is that part of service above self that really makes you feel good inside while you help others and does more to promote the real meaning of Rotary than anything else our club has undertaken.

We have a great group of Rotarians who enjoy letting the "bon temps roulet" (Good Times Roll) during our meetings. Come on down and join us each Wednesday at noon at Prestwick Country Club..... it will be a Rotary meeting you will enjoy and see that the spirit of Rotary is alive and well here in Surfside Beach.
